Ravens Have Something to Prove and so do the Texans

Even though the Baltimore Ravens got the victory last week against the Dallas Cowboys, it proved to be costly as Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb were injured and will be out for the rest of the season. The Ravens defense has given up a huge amount of yards this season on the ground even when these 2 players were healthy. The Ravens defense will be looking to prove that they can stop the run and that they can step up despite the loss of 2 key players on defense. The Ravens offense will be looking to prove that they can continue to carry the team.

The Houston Texans will be looking to bounce back after a devastating loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Texans will be looking to prove that they are Superbowl contenders in the AFC by knocking off the Baltimore Ravens for the first time in the history of their organization. They may also be seeking a little revenge against the Ravens since the Ravens knocked them out of the playffs last season.

This is the matchup that all the analysts are talking about this week and it should be a good game.

Cowboys Come to Town to Play Ravens

After coming off an ugly win against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Baltimore Ravens will face the Dallas Cowboys today. The Ravens are undefeated at home so far this season, but the Cowboys will be looking to end that streak.

The key to success in this game will be controlling the line of scrimmage an protecting quarterback Joe Flacco. If the Ravens can run the ball with Ray Rice and keep the pressure off of Flacco, then the Ravens should have another home victory.

2 Former Ravens Going into Pro Football Hall of Fame

Shannon Sharpe and Deion Sanders will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. Shannon Sharpe was a member of the 2000 Ravens and was a major contributor that year in helping us win the Superbowl. He also helped tutor Todd Heap at the TE position the following year.
Deion Sanders played a year in Baltimore alongside Ed Reed in the secondary.

Both players were incredible and are well deserving of the honor. Not only were they both former Baltimore Ravens but they both won Superbowl rings with more than one team.
Shannon Sharpe won 2 Superbowl rings while playing for the Denver Broncos. Deion Sanders won a Superbowl ring with the 49ers and another with the Dallas Cowboys.
