Can Ravens Stop Trent Richardson?

The Baltimore Ravens defense has been struggling all season trying to stop the run. Today they will face the impressive rookie running back, Trent Richardson, of the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens are coming off of a bye week so they have had plenty of time to prepare and fix the holes in the defense.

Hopefully, the return of Terrell Suggs will help the defense against the run as well as the pass. It will be a good test today to see if the Ravens can slow down rookie sensation Trent Richardson.

Ravens Have Something to Prove and so do the Texans

Even though the Baltimore Ravens got the victory last week against the Dallas Cowboys, it proved to be costly as Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb were injured and will be out for the rest of the season. The Ravens defense has given up a huge amount of yards this season on the ground even when these 2 players were healthy. The Ravens defense will be looking to prove that they can stop the run and that they can step up despite the loss of 2 key players on defense. The Ravens offense will be looking to prove that they can continue to carry the team.

The Houston Texans will be looking to bounce back after a devastating loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Texans will be looking to prove that they are Superbowl contenders in the AFC by knocking off the Baltimore Ravens for the first time in the history of their organization. They may also be seeking a little revenge against the Ravens since the Ravens knocked them out of the playffs last season.

This is the matchup that all the analysts are talking about this week and it should be a good game.

Cowboys Come to Town to Play Ravens

After coming off an ugly win against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Baltimore Ravens will face the Dallas Cowboys today. The Ravens are undefeated at home so far this season, but the Cowboys will be looking to end that streak.

The key to success in this game will be controlling the line of scrimmage an protecting quarterback Joe Flacco. If the Ravens can run the ball with Ray Rice and keep the pressure off of Flacco, then the Ravens should have another home victory.

Ravens Test Out Road Skills Against Kansas City Chiefs

We all know that the Baltimore Ravens are extemely tough to beat when they play a home going undefeated at home last season. The question is if they can get it done on the road against teams they should beat. The Ravens will get a chance to make a statement today as the take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the road.

Although the Ravens defense is only ranked 23rd, they ae ranked 3rd against the run. This will be a good test today for the Ravens as the Kansas City Chiefs have an outstanding running game.

Long Live Justin Tucker!

If you had any doubts how rookie kicker Justin Tucker would perform under a pressure situation, you can put those doubts to rest right now! Justin Tucker kicked the game winning field goal with 2 seconds on the clock to give the Baltimore Ravens the revenge that they were seeking against the New England Patriots.

Joe Flacco led the game winning drive which led to Justin Tucker’s game winning field goal. Wide receiver Torrey Smith gave an inspiring performance catching 2 TD passes with 127 yards receiving despite the fact that his younger brother was killed in a motorcycle accident less than 24 hours before the game. Joe Flacco passed for 382 yards and 2 TDs and Ray Rice rushed for 101 yards and a TD.

Final Score: Ravens 31 Patriots 30

Ravens Seek Revenge Against Patriots Tonight

Nobody can forget the heartbreaking loss that the Baltimore Ravens suffered against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game last season. Well, tonight the Baltimore Ravens will have the opportunity to get revenge in primetime Sunday Night football. The Ravens will get this golden this opportunity in front of a packed home crowd at M&T Bank Stadium.

Both the Ravens and the Patriots are coming off of losses. The Ravens will try to rebound after a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The Ravens should have won last week but somehow decided to not run the ball with a 10 point halftime lead against the Eagles. The Ravens vs Patriots game will probably be the most anticipated NFL football matchup this week and it should turn out to be a good game.

Ed Reed Breaks NFL Record Against Bengals!

In debate of who is the greatest free safety of all time, Ed Reed must be at the top of the list after tonight. He probably was at the top of the list before tonight but he just sealed the deal. With his pick six against the Bengals tonight , Ed Reed now holds the record for the most interception return yards in NFL history with 1,497. This is the reason I wear my Ed Reed jersey with pride on purple Fridays.

The Baltimore Ravens went undefeated at home last year. The way they are performing thus far against the Bengals in front of a home crowd on Monday Night Football, they just may go undefeated at home again this year.

Billy Cundiff vs Justin Tucker

There have been many famous battles throughout sports history such as Ali vs Frazier in boxing and in the Olympics we had Phelps vs Lochte. The biggest battle going on right now in the Baltimore area right now is the battle between Billy Cundiff and rookie Justin Tucker for the job of being the Baltimore Ravens field goal kicker.

Cundiff had one good year in Baltimore in the 2010 season but is now famous for missing a crucial field goal in last year’s AFC Championship game against the Patriots. Justin Tucker has been real impressive this season and I witnessed him hit a 63 yard field goal at the Ravens practice at M&T Bank stadium earlier this month. In last night’s pre season game he hit a 53 yard field goal and looked great.

Most Ravens fans want Cundiff kicked out of town and with Justin Tucker’s performance so far it may happen. Who do you prefer to get the job Justing Tucker or Billy Cundiff?

Baltimore Ravens 2012 NFL Draft Picks

The 2012 NFL draft was not as exciting as the 2011 NFL draft for most Baltimore Ravens fans. Mainly because the Ravens decided to trade back and did not select any players in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. The Baltimore Ravens 2012 NFL draft picks are as follows:
