Elvis Dumervil is Signing with the Baltimore Ravens

After losing several quality starters in free agency, the Baltimore Ravens seem to be building the defensive line back up by bringing in Elvis Dumervil. Elvis Dumervil will be coming from the Denver Broncos and he knows how to get to the quarterback.

If you are not familiar with Elvis Dumervil, then check out these Evis Dumervil highlights in the video below:

Anquan Boldin Traded to the 49ers

Well we knew that the Baltimore Ravens wouldn’t be able to keep everyone. Especially after rewarding quarterback Joe Flacco by making him the highest paid player in the NFL. The news broke that Anquan Boldin has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers for a sixth round draft pick. Losing Boldin will be a huge loss on offense. He made some huge plays during the Superbowl run. We will miss the leadership and fire that he brought to the offense.

Below you can see some Anquan Boldin highlights:

Baltimore Ravens: Superbowl Champions

All hail the Superbowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. Despite having to survive a bazaar power outage that gave the San Francisco 49ers a chance to regroup and spotting the 49ers 2 points by giving up a safety, the Ravens win Superbowl 47!

Ravens win by score of 34 to 31 in what turned out to be the longest game in Superbowl history!

Superbowl 47: Ravens vs 49ers Analysis

The San Francisco 49ers are the favorites to win the Superbowl today. The 49ers have a rookie quarterback however. This rookie quarterback has never faced the likes of Ray Lewis or Ed Reed.

Have people forgotten how this Baltimore Ravens defense completely shut out the New England Patriots in the second half of the AFC Championship game. Have they forgotten how the Baltimore defense dominated the first Harbowl?

Both teams have alot of weapons on offense and good defenses. I am looking for Ray Lewis to get his 2nd ring though and Joe Flacco to get more respect throughtout the league when the Ravens win the Superbowl. I am drinking the purple Kool-Aid and I am taking the Rvens all the way.

The Ravens have come much too far to lose this game. If Jim Harbaugh beats us with a rookie quarterback then the 49ers deserve to win.

Predition: Ravens 24 49ers 17

Ray Lewis: The Last Ride

Since Ray Lewis announced that this will be his last ride, we have seen nothing but superior football from the Baltimore Ravens. It seems like Ray Lewis may have saved his best for last over the past few weeks. This isn’t easy to do because Ray Lewis has so many great highlights over the course of his career.

You can see some of the Ray Lewis highlights in the video below:

Baltimore Ravens are Going to the Superbowl!

Everybody doubted them last week Everybody doubted them this week. The Baltimore Ravens are a team of destiny however
and are going to the Superbowl! The Ravens showed what a healthy defense can do getting Tom Brady to throw 2 interceptions and holding the New England Patriots to just 13 points.

Joe Flacco, on the otherhand, looked flawless and threw 3 marvelous TD pass despite windy conditions. Ray Rice also ran for a TD score.

The Ravens are going to another Superbowl!!!

Final Score: Ravens 28 Patriots 13

The Rematch: Ravens vs Patriots

It is not very often that you get to see a rematch of the previoys year’s AFC Championship game. Today that will happen in the Ravens vs Patriots matchup. Last year’s AFC championship gam ended badly for the Baltimore Ravens due to a Lee Evans mistake in the end zone as well as a missed kick by Billy Cundiff.

This year may be different however. The Ravens have a great new rookie field goal kicker in Justin Tucker. They have also added speedster WR Jacoby Jones to the roster. The Baltimore Ravens also have a new offensive coordinator now and have been averaging 28 points per game since Jim Caldwell took over the offense.

We all know that Tom Brady and the New England Patriots can put up some points. The key to beating New England is by keeping close and then making the needed stops on defense. The Ravens usually play the Patriots very tough and if any team can go up to New England and win it is the Baltimore Ravens.

Ravens Shock Broncos and Peyton Manning

The Ravens vs Broncos playoff game was probably the best win for the Baltimore Ravens since the Superbowl victory in 2000! Almost nobody gave the AFC North Champion Ravens a chance to win against the Denver Broncos. Even most of the Baltimore area sports analysts were picking Denver to win. Who knew? Who knew the the offensive line would play outstanding for the Ravens? Who knew that Joe Flacco would outplay Peyton Manning and throw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs? Who knew that Torrey Smith would torch DB Champ Bailey time and time again? Who knew the the Baltimore Ravens would put up 38 points on what was considered one of the best defenses in the NFL?

What most analysts did not take into consideration is the heart of this Ravens team. This is a team of destiny. Maybe they didn’t know that the Ravens are hungry and are tired of getting knocked out of the playoffs like they did n the last 4 years. The Ravens are back baby with unfinished business! Our strong willed emotional leader Ray Lewis is back for his last ride baby!

Yesterday’s win against the Broncos was a total team effort on both offense and defense. The only negative was the special teams coverage which gave up 2 TDs and made the win harder to get than it should have been. The game itself was a high scoring battle going back and forth eventually going into double overtime. After the way the season ended last year, it was only fitting that the victory came on a long field goal by rookie Justin Tucker. In conclusion, the Ravens find themselves right where they need to be after this game. The Ravens are back in the AFC championship and one win away from the Superbowl.

Final Score: Ravens 38 Broncos 35

Can the Ravens Sweep the Pittsburgh Steelers?

The Baltimore Ravens can clinch the AFC North Division today by beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. A win today would also clinch the 2nd season sweep of the Steelers in the past 2 years. This is a great opportunity for the Baltimore Ravens to help put the Pittsburgh Steelers out of their misery.

Big Ben will not be playing today for the Steelers and the Ravens will be playing at home where they haven’t loss in 2 seasons. I expect the Ravens to win this game and become the AFC North Champions today.

Go Ravens!!!
